    THANKFUL FRIDAY #7

    1. BERLIN
I spent the days between Christmas and New Year in Berlin with Tom and we had such an amazing time. If you haven't been to Berlin, I highly recommend it - there's loads of history there as well as some amazing food. I'll be writing more about our trip on here shortly so watch this space...
    2. WURST BEHAVIOUR
After my trip to Berlin, I have a new found love for Currywurst. As far as national dishes go - it's a bit weird. It's basically a sausage covered in tomato sauce and a bit of curry powder but I LOVED them. I had one pretty much every day for lunch..
    3. CHRISTMAS
Christmas Day this year was the best one ever. I'm not even being dramatic. We went to the pub for a Christmas pint, had a delicious Christmas feast and spent the evening playing Articulate and drinking Baileys. For the first time in YEARS my four brothers and I were all together and Tom made the 2.5 hour drive to be with us too - a perfect day spent with all my favourite people.

    4. PRESENTS
One of my favourite parts about Christmas is seeing my family's faces when they open their presents. Everyone was really made up with the things I bought and I was really spoilt this year by Tom and my family. I got a MacBook and a 45mm lens for my Olympus PEN which have made me a very happy and grateful girl.

    5. BEERS IN BERLIN
Lots of beer was drunk in Berlin. A LOT. Lovely German beer...
    6. HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Sore head today clearly means New Years Eve was a success. Tom and I made Pornstar Martinis at home before heading down to the local pub to see in the count-down. No door fees, no ridiculously priced drinks and within walking distance so no double fare cabs! A pretty successful night.

    7. THE MAN IN THE HIGH CASTLE
Yesterday was spent watching episodes of The Man in the High Castle with Tom. It's an alternate reality of what life would be like had the Nazis won the war - felt pretty apt after our trip to Berlin. We're about 8 episodes in and I still can't decide whether I like it or not!

    8. BODY GOALS
I've literally eaten everything in sight over the past two weeks so as of Monday (when I go back to work) it's time to start eating less and moving a bit more. I saw a picture of Lauren Goodger on Instagram the other day which is my new motivation - she looks incredible and has clearly put in a hell of a lot of work so fair play to her!
    9. TALKING OF BODY GOALS...
I saw this the other day which made me laugh
    10. LOOKING FORWARD TO 2016
It's officially 2016 so it's a perfect time to be thankful for all the success of 2015. I had a really good year, I travelled to Paris, Marrakech, Cancun and Berlin, ate in some of the best restaurants in London, got a new job and achieved things through my blog I never thought possible. I'm looking forward to everything 2016 has to offer and spending more time with my family and my Tom.
