I don't know about you but my Instagram seems to be filled with food-porn worthy snaps of smoothie bowls lately.
You know the ones I mean - bright coloured bowls topped with lots of delicious fruit which make you feel healthy just looking at them. The team at Alpro have obviously noticed the trend too as they recently sent me out a kit and asked me to have a go at trying my own.
I love a good smoothie recipe so I was definitely up to the challenge - what do you think of my effort?
I love berries so I've packed my smoothie bowl with lots of delicious strawberries, raspberries and blueberries but you can top yours with anything you fancy. I've added a sprinkle of chia seeds which are great for an omega-3 and fibre hit plus this recipe is packed with anti-oxidants to set you up for the day ahead.
What you'll need
1 tsp pomegranate seeds
1/2 tub Alpro plain with coconut
Splash cranberry juice
What you'll need to do
1. For the smoothie, whizz together the cranberry juice, raspberries, blueberries, avocado and cranberry juice to a thick, creamy consistency.
2. Pour into your bowl and decorate with your remaining fruits and chia seeds! Simple.
